About Us

What's different about me and my firm…

I am in good standing with the State Bar, The Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and have been a guest speaker at numerous Legal Affairs including Seminars for Attorneys involved in Automobile accident cases and in Jury selection.

I have tried hundreds of cases and been to the Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, more times than I can count. I have also helped significantly change the laws in Georgia on various types of cases. The last modified the laws regarding the duties that a homeowner has in repairing and maintaining and renovating his home. Before the duty was minimal. A homeowner could merely say he didn’t know better, but I created a higher standard predicated upon a “weekend” warrior theory, that in today’s times we have Home Depot and Lowes’ wherein homeowners are frequently “fixing” their homes and for them to merely say they didn’t know better was a ridiculous standard.

I’ve helped in eliminating ERISA style liens in Underinsured Motorist cases by applying the holdings of our Supreme Court in Workers Compensation type cases to Self funded Health Insurance plans governed under Federal ERISA laws.

I am the only Attorney in Georgia to run my own website specifically catering to other Plaintiff’s lawyers. Over 600 Georgia Lawyers who CAN NOT represent Insurance Companies are members of my Organization. My emphasis on sharing information with other attorneys about how to best serve the needs of our clients is fundamental and ultimately beneficial, not only to my clients but to the clients of all Georgia Attorneys.

I am active in the community, involved heavily in community affairs. Recently I served on the Board of Elections in my County in which I oversaw the Federal, State and Local elections.

I’ve also taught law at the College level, so that makes me a Professor I guess too.

The above is not legal advice. That can only come from a qualified attorney who is familiar with all the facts and circumstances of a particular, specific case and the relevant law. See Terms of Use.
